Including 23 kinds of semiconductor manufacturing equipment (or items) in six categories, such as lithography, etching, heat treatment, cleaning and inspection, which are mainly aimed at high-end semiconductor manufacturing equipment. When the controlled items in the list are exported to Chinese mainland, Russian and other regions, they need to obtain the license of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. On May 25, a spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce said that Japan should start from safeguarding international economic and trade rules and Sino-Japanese economic and trade cooperation, immediately correct its wrong practices, avoid relevant measures to hinder the normal cooperation and development of the semiconductor industry between the two countries, and earnestly safeguard the stability of the global semiconductor industry chain supply chain. China will reserve the right to take measures and resolutely safeguard its legitimate rights and interests.
